Container, Flow, and Obstruction

Container, Flow, and Obstruction is an interactive public art project that uses computer-generated visual media to create a mixed reality in real time. It is triggered by the speed of the blood flow of living organisms, allowing the experiencer to interact with the surface of the earth in an intimate and tangible way. The interactive behavior of the audience and the installation itself constitute this work, showing the relationship between the three metaphorical concepts of container, flow, and obstruction. The work constructs a metaphorical world view of material circulation, through which the current state of the environment, formed by the interaction between material containers and flows of life in the geological period of the Anthropocene, is understood from the perspectives of geology, biology, and philosophy.
